Weekly Roster Update 06/21/19
June 21, 2019
It’s Friday, you know what that means, we’ve updated all 30 teams’ rosters! We’ve given significant boosts to this past week’s top performers and changed the lineups to best reflect the ones being put on the field each day by MLB clubs.
The fans have spoken! Masahiro Tanaka was this week’s winner of the #ChooseToBoost poll. Keep an eye out for our next poll so that you can vote for which top performer of the weekend gets a boost! Follow us on Twitter @RBIGAME to make sure you never miss a poll!
Be warned AL East, it’s Tanaka Time. The Yankees ace threw a 111 pitch CSGO against division rival Rays, tallying 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, and a season-high 10 Ks. Before this Tanaka was in a bit of a slump. He allowed 4 R a game in his previous three starts, albeit still tallying at least 7 Ks in two of the three.
We’ve boosted Tanaka’s Curve and Stamina.
Check the weather report in Atlanta and have your umbrellas ready because the Bringer of Rain has arrived! Donaldson has been a crucial part to the Braves’ success as they look to lock up the NL East. He’s hit a HR in 6 of his last 9 games while slashing .385/.415/.897.
We’ve boosted Donaldson’s Contact and Power.
Shane ‘Not Justin’ Bieber went to Detroit and put on a show against his AL Central rival. Bieber pitched 8 innings and finished with 12 Ks, 1 BB, 4 H, 2 R. The Indians currently sit 9 games back from the Twins, can they still win the division? Never say never.
We’ve boosted Bieber’s Curve and Drop.
Marcus Semien has a hit in his last 16 games. Consistency is part of Sauce’s game, he’s the only player in Oakland to play every game this season and that streak dates all the way back to June 28, 2018. A force on both sides of the plate, Semien is top 10 in both Offensive and Defensive WAR this season.
We’ve boosted Simien’s Contact, Arm, and Fielding.
Daniel Ponce de Leon
Ponce de Leon made his third start of the year and is making himself a strong case to remain in the Cardinals’ rotation. Against Miami he pitched 6 innings and finished with 6 Ks, 1 B, 2 H, 0 R, and earned a quality start. On the season, the right-hander has a 1.20 ERA and a 9.6 K/9.
We’ve boosted Ponce de Leon’s Curve, Drop, and Speed Differential.
Bogie has been as hot as his socks are red! He’s had multiple hits in 5 of his last 9, slashing .387/.535/.742 with 5 2Bs, 2 HRs, and 7 RBIs. Bogaerts is also showing off his patience at the plate, with 11 BBs in that span.
We’ve boosted Bogaerts’ Contact, Arm, and Fielding.
